Lane County Public Health requests that dentists who are certified to administer vaccinations volunteer at an upcoming mass vaccination clinic and assist with the C19 vaccination effort.
Qualifying dentists and other health professionals interested in volunteering with the vaccination effort are encouraged to sign up through the State Emergency Registry of Volunteers in Oregon (SERV-OR). SERV-OR is Oregon’s roster of licensed physicians, nurses, pharmacists, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), behavioral health providers, respiratory therapists and others who have registered to volunteer in response to local, state, and/or federal emergencies.

Washington — “There does not appear to be a grave danger of being exposed to COVID-19 in dental settings, particularly as the pandemic is decelerating.”
This is what the ADA told the White House Office of Management and Budget during a June 1 meeting discussing the potential impact of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s draft COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard.
